<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas information estimation device for estimating gas information other than concentration by using a gas sensor element that detects concentration of flowing gas flowing in an internal combustion engine, and eliminating the necessity of a measurement sensor for measuring gas information to be estimated. <P>SOLUTION: A gas information estimation device 100 is connected to a gas sensor element for detecting concentration of flowing gas flowing in an internal combustion engine 11 to estimate gas information other than concentration, and includes: gas sensor element provisional temperature calculation means 51 which uses a model that simulates an estimated temperature of the gas sensor element on the basis of a parameter value related to the gas information, inputs a reference value as the parameter value, and calculates the provisional temperature of the gas sensor element; gas sensor element real temperature measurement means 53 and 54; gas information calculation means 55 for calculating a true value of the parameter value inputted to the model in place of the reference value so that the provisional temperature of the gas sensor element is closer to the real temperature; and gas information acquisition means 57 for acquiring an estimated value of the gas information from the true value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
