<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary sensor which is easy to manufacture and has an improved detectability. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 2 of a rotary sensor 1 houses a detection part 3 and is mounted on a vehicle body of a motorcycle. A rotor 4 is formed of a conductive material, is freely rotatably provided in the housing 2, and rotates with a stand 101 with rotation of the stand 101. A detected part 42 is composed of a part of this rotor 4. The detection part 3 includes a circuit board 30. A coil 31 composed of a planar coil is formed on the circuit board 30. The coil 31 is driven at a high frequency by an integrated circuit 32 mounted on the circuit board 30. Conductance of the coil 31 changes when a distance from the detected part 42 changes with rotation of the rotor 4. The integrated circuit 32 detects whether the stand 101 is in an upright position or in a storage position from conductance change of the coil 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
