<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate with an adhesive layer which is at low cost, thin,and excellent also in optical aptitude by using a specific adhesive film which can be replaced with conventional polarizer protection films of a cellulosic system, an olefinic system, an acrylic system, etc., to be adhered on one side or both sides of a polyvinyl alcoholic polarizer, and a method for manufacturing such a polarizing plate with the adhesive layer. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a polarizing plate with an adhesive layer which is constituted by providing at least one surface of a polarizer with the adhesive layer which functions also as a polarizer protection film, in which the adhesive layer is formed by containing at least a reaction product between an acrylic copolymer having a reactive functional group and a crosslinking agent having a functional group which reacts with the reactive functional group, in formation of the reaction product, mol equivalent of the functional group of the crosslinking agent is increased to mol equivalent of the reactive functional group of the acrylic copolymer to make the functional group of the crosslinking agent remain in the adhesive layer, and a method for manufacturing the polarizing plate of the adhesive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
