A high-power vertical axis wind generator includes a vertical blade wind wheel (01) and an energy-increasing wing (1, 2, 401). The energy-increasing wing (1, 2, 401) is a wind shield arranged on a bracket in a manner of not blocking blades (02) to rotate and positioned in front of the windward of the wind wheel (01). The energy-increasing wing (1, 2, 401) corresponds to the blades (02) in the upwind rotating portion of the wind wheel (01) so that the side of the wind wheel (01) blocked from rotating is shielded. The efficiency of the vertical axis wind generator may be increased by above 25% by arranging the energy-increasing wing (1, 2, 401) in front of the windward of the wind wheel (01). |
