<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of outputting a high quality image with little fixing unevenness even when a conveyance speed for a recording material is changed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a fixing device 115 having a heater 224 generating heat when energized, and a control part 220 controlling power supply from an AC power source. The control part 220 controls the power with a plurality of successive half waves of the AC power source used as one control cycle, and performs the control so that timing at which a portion on a recording material heated by a first heating element 203 reaches a heating region of a second heating element 204 may not accord with timing at which control of power supply to the second heating element 204 is started after a time interval from start of control of power supply to the first heating element 203. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
