<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive member which can maintain a low contact resistance for a long term and can minimize fretting wear without requiring an expensive material such as a precious metal, and to provide a method of manufacturing a terminal easily. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a conductive member having a contact part which comes into contact with another conductor and is connected electrically therewith includes a film formation step for forming a conductive film on the surface at at least the contact part of a base material composed of a copper based material by applying a metal containing gallium in the liquid state.
