PURPOSE: A character based bank transaction service apparatus, method, and program recording medium are provided to change original account numbers into character based account number inputted by a client by using mapping information stored in an information DB(Data Base). CONSTITUTION: An account number input unit(202) inputs account numbers for a bank transaction. An account number confirmation unit(204) determines whether the account numbers are composed from characters. The character based account numbers are separated from original account number. An account number conversion unit(206) selectively changes the original account numbers into the character based account number. The account number conversion unit transmits the changed account number to a bank server. |
