摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber side communication device capable of performing power saving control of an L2SW even in an optical communication system that is configured such that the L2SW accommodates a plurality of OSUs. <P>SOLUTION: A station side communication device (OLT) 1, configuring an optical communication system together with a plurality of subscriber side communication devices (ONU) 7, includes an L2SW and a plurality of OSUs 3 accommodating one or more ONUs 7. Each of the OSUs 3: performs processing to allocate a band for up-link signal transmission corresponding to an up-link data amount accumulated in the ONU 7 under the control of the OSU; notifies the ONU 7 under the control of the OSU of an allocation result of the band for up-link signal transmission at the same timing with the other OSU 3; and allocates the band, in the band allocation process, so that a time slot when each of the ONUs 7 under the control of the OSU 3 transmits an up-link signal coincides with a time slot when each of the ONUs 7 under the control of the other OSU 3 transmits the up-link signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
