<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor power converter in which a load response is enhanced at the time of further sudden load change during load operation. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor power converter includes a converter 1, a DC capacitor 2, an inverter 3, a converter control part 7 for voltage control, current detecting means 6, speed detecting means 5, and an inverter control part 8 for controlling output of the inverter 3. The inverter control part 8 includes speed control means 81, vector calculation means 82, torque rate limit means 84 for limiting a change rate of a torque current reference, torque axis current control means 86, magnetic flux axis current control means 87, gate control means 88 and 89, load rate detecting means 93, and sudden load change detection means 92. When a load rate of an AC motor 4 is at a predetermined threshold value or higher and the sudden load change detection means 92 detects sudden change of load, a torque rate limit value of the torque rate limit means 84 is switched from a standard value to a switching value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
