<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage changes in health condition of a user M sitting on a seat. <P>SOLUTION: A device for managing health condition includes: a capacitive sensor 40 for detecting capacitance between a pair of sensor electrodes 30A, 30B provided in different positions of support surfaces (S. T) of a seat 10 where the user M sits on; a management unit 52 for calculating, based on the capacitance detected by the capacitive sensor 40, health condition information by referring to relevant information 521 associated in advance with a capacitance and a fat percentage of a human being with respect to each weight and other physical information, and generating management information 521 for managing changes in the health condition of the user M from the history of the calculated result of the health condition information; and an output unit 54 for outputting the management information generated in the management unit 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
