PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SHAPED METAL BODY HAVING STRUCTURED SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical method for producing shaped metal bodies having a structured surface, especially a shaped metal body with at least one structured surface having an anchor formed with an undercut at an end facing the metal body, wherein the structure on the surface can have a length of 1 mm or less.

SOLUTION: The metal body is produced by the MIM (metal injection molding) technique employing a powder of a titanium alloy and/or a magnesium alloy. The metal body is further deformed into a desired shape 18 in an untreated state or a pretreated state after injection molding, and then the shaped material is sintered.
