<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin type and light weighted seat by which a seated occupant does not feel the sense of incongruity. <P>SOLUTION: A composite plate member in which a foaming synthetic resin material is provided between two metallic thin plates is used, and a seat surface is formed according to the shape of the human body seated in the seat. Moreover, the seat surface is formed with a consecutive surface and a consecutive curved surface.
