<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which, when being combined with an LED light source, exhibits display quality equivalent to that exhibited by combination with a CCFL light source, and to provide a display device including the color filter and an LED light source. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to a color filter for an LED light source: a red pixel contains PR177, PR254, and PY150 as coloring materials, and a ratio of PR177 content to a total mass of coloring materials in the red pixel is higher than a ratio of PR254 to the total mass, and a ratio of PY150 content to the total mass of coloring materials in the red pixel is 10 mass% or lower; a green pixel contains PG58 as a green pigment and PY138 and/or PY150 as a yellow pigment, and a ratio of total yellow pigment content to a total mass of coloring materials in the green pixel is 5 to 25 mass%; and a blue pixel contains a phthalocyanine-based blue pigment, and a ratio of phthalocyanine-based blue pigment content to a total mass of coloring materials in the blue pixel is 90 mass% or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
