<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suppressing a flow rate of lubricating oil returning from a regulator valve to an oil pan. <P>SOLUTION: The oil pump system includes the oil pan storing the lubricating oil, an oil pump, a relief valve, an oil cooler, and the regulator valve. The oil pump pumps up the lubricating oil from the oil pan using power of an engine. The relief valve adjusts a discharge flow rate of the oil pump. The oil cooler cools the lubricating oil supplied from the oil pump. The regulator valve returns the lubricating oil having passed through the oil cooler to the oil pan. The relief valve is opened under conditions in which there is an operating pressure or more of the regulator valve, and a delivery flow rate from the regulator valve during high rotation of the engine is a threshold or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
