<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver which even in a downloading time of update software, allows a viewer to view or record a program, thereby improving user friendliness and saving costs for the downloading. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver connected with one or more communication paths for downloading the update software in addition to broadcast waves comprises: using state monitor means for monitoring the using state of the broadcast receiver; and downloading path change means which changes the priority levels of the communication paths to download the update software, on the basis of the using state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
