<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a charge generating material that is just as high sensitivity as that of titanyl phthalocyanine pigment and is independent of humidity in the sensitivity, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer on a conductive support, the charge generation layer comprises a pigment containing an adduct with at least either of titanyl phthalocyanine and (2R,3R)-2,3-butanediol, or (2S,3S)-2,3-butanediol. An X-ray diffraction spectrum of the charge generating layer has at least diffraction peaks of at Bragg angles 2θ(±0.2°) of 7.5° and 8.3° with respect to CuKα characteristic X-ray, and an intensity ratio of the peak of the Bragg angle of 7.5° to the peak of the Bragg angle of 8.3° is within a range of 0.05-0.6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
