<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen wherein a writing ball rotates smoothly even by a light writing pressure, and thus, smooth writing can be achieved. <P>SOLUTION: A ballpoint pen 1 is provided with a cylindrical body shaft 2 and an ink core 3. The ink core 3 has a ballpoint pen tip (applicator tip) 5 which rotatably holds a writing ball 10, and which is attached to the end of an ink storage tube (ink storage unit) 7 with a connecting member 6 therebetween. In the ballpoint pen tip 5, the writing ball 10 and a rear ball 50 are arranged in series. When the writing ball 10 is brought into contact with paper or the like and the ballpoint pen 1 is moved, the writing ball 10 rotates smoothly due to the small area of contact with the rear side. As the rear ball 50 does not rotate during writing, the rotational state of the writing ball 10 does not vary in response to a change in writing pressure during writing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
