<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trapping apparatus for taking beasts, which is a trap utilizing the difference in elevation of a slope in fields and mountains, continuously automatically dropping the chase in a fence by a device of the trap partly forcibly at the moment of stepping in by one pace for seeing the conditions even when the beast approaches without intention and does not deeply enter the inside of the fence of the watching trap. <P>SOLUTION: Jointly with an induction fence also serving as the protection, a general ordinary passage common and running in fields and mountains utilizes the bait and the decoy effect. When the beast approaches an opening of the fence to see the conditions due to temptation of the bait and the decoy, the load on front and back of a board 2 of a floating passage is unbalanced by its foot pressure, so that the board 2 of the floating passage serving as a trap drops from the forward end first while the beast feet are still put thereon, and the chase falls headlong partly forcibly into a farming fence at the lower side.
