PURPOSE: A deco ring of a vehicle dashboard is provided for visual design effect by forming a vivid edge portion on a dashboard in daytime and brightening the edge portion on a dashboard at night. CONSTITUTION: A deco ring of a vehicle dashboard is composed as follows. The exterior surface of a deco-ring(11) is coated with chromium and a deposit portion(13) is formed on the deco-ring. The light quantity of a light source installed in a vehicle dashboard(12) is controlled through the thickness of the deposit portion.
