METHOD FOR ESTIMATING EFFECTIVE HORSE POWER OF SHIP

PURPOSE: A method for previously estimating effective horsepower of a ship before a pilot test is provided to estimate accurate effective horsepower by preventing overestimation of the entire resistance. CONSTITUTION: The entire additive coefficient is estimated by distinguishing the additive kind of a design ship. The redundancy resistance coefficient of a helix is estimated. The redundancy resistance coefficient is estimated by using the entire additive coefficient. The whole resistance coefficient is calculated.
