APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING 500MBPS USING 2PAIRS LINE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting data in 500mbps is provided to allow a 500 mega level service through a 2P UTP cable by adding a sublayer parallelizing and serializing a symbol according to synchronization. CONSTITUTION: An RA(Rate Adaptation) sublayer(10) is located between a GMII(Gigabit Media Independent Interface) and a PCS(Physical Coding Sublayer) layer(20). A S&S(SERDES & Synchronization) sublayer(30) is located between the PCS layer and a PMA layer(40). The RA sublayer changes a signal inputted from the GMII into 0.5 GMII. The RA sublayer performs a speed matching function. The S&S sublayer serializes 4 symbol vectors inputted from the PCS layer into two symbol vectors. The S&S sublayer parallelizes the two symbol vectors inputted from the PMA layer into the 4 original symbol vectors.
