PURPOSE: A small signal reception protection apparatus is provided to protect a RF(Radio Frequency) circuit of a small signal reception apparatus by obtaining high gain characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A signal detection unit(410) detects signals received through a wireless media. A detection signal determination unit(420) compares the size of maximum input permission values in a first RF amplifier with the size of the detected signal. When the size of the detected signal is bigger than the maximum input permission value of the first RF amplification end, a bias control unit(430) blocks the power supply of the first RF amplifier by controlling the bias of the first RF amplifier.
