<p>PURPOSE: An expansion chuck for transmitting a lubricating medium without loss is provided to seal the gap between an adjustable lubricating medium bush and a body using a seal. CONSTITUTION: An expansion chuck for transmitting a lubricating medium without loss comprises a body(10), a lubricating medium passage(20), and a press-fitting unit(40). The body has a spindle part and a tool part. The spindle part couples a tool holder to a spindle. The tool part receives a tool therein. The lubricating medium passage is formed from the spindle part to the tool part. The press-fitting part comprises a lubricating medium bush opened to the tool part of the body. A seal(44) seals the lubricating medium bush to the body.</p> |
