<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a protection plate whose hardness is adequately increased and in which a filler squeezed out from a space between a display panel and the protection plate is suppressed from adhering to an outer peripheral surface or a rear surface of the display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A display device with a protection plate comprises: a frame part 27a; an aperture 30 defined by an internal surface of the frame part 27a; and a support member 27 disposed between a display panel 1 and a protection plate 22 so that a predetermined part of the frame part 27a overlaps a peripheral part of the display panel 1 and a peripheral part of the protection plate 22. A rear surface 28 of the frame part 27a of the support member 27 is fixed to a peripheral part of a front surface of the display panel 1, a closing member 32 is disposed in face of the internal surface of the frame part 27a within the aperture 30 so as to fill a space between the rear surface 28 of the frame part 27a and the front surface of the display panel 1, and a filler 35 is filled in the space between the display panel 1 and the protection plate 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
