<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem: a conventional pulse wave sensor has the difficulty in continuously measuring pulse waves over a long time although it can perform short-time pulse wave measurement. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse wave sensor 100 has: a plurality of optical sensor units 101-1 to 101-n for irradiating a wrist 200 with a light and detecting the strength of light passing through a living body; a control unit 102 for controlling to turn ON/OFF for each of the optical sensor units 101-1 to 101-n; and an armlet-type housing 107 for containing the optical sensor units 101-1 to 101-n and the control unit 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
