<p>LOCK DEVICE AND FITTINGA lock device 30 includes a cover 61 that is attached to a door end face 23b1 of a door end stile 23b and ensures a movement space between the door end stile 23b and itself, a gear 63 that is provided such that a square shaft 42b rotating about a center axis in accordance with an operation of an operation handle 41 penetrates through a through-hole 63a and rotates together with the square shaft 42b in the movement space, and a slider that meshes with a portion of teeth of the gear and slidingly moves in the movement space in accordance with the rotation of the gear. The slider 64 has an insertion hole 64b through which a front end of the square shaft 42b penetrating through the gear 63 is inserted.
