<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which variation in electric potential for light emission by change in current amounts flowing through light emitting elements is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device includes: a plurality of pixel circuits including light emitting elements of which light emission amounts are respectively changed according to current amounts and drive transistors for controlling the current amounts flowing through the light emitting elements based on display signals; a data line driving circuit for supplying the display signals respectively to the plurality of pixel circuits based on image data; a power supply unit for outputting electric potential for light emission; and a current amount prediction unit for calculating the current amounts flowing through the plurality of pixel circuits from the power supply unit based on the image data. The power supply unit performs control of suppressing variation in the electric potential for light emission based on the calculated current amounts and the output electric potential for light emission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
