PURPOSE: A stereoscopic image display device is provided to restrict crosstalk by minimizing the leakage of light caused by employing twisted nematic liquid crystal as a liquid crystal lens. CONSTITUTION: A stereoscopic image display device comprises a liquid crystal lens, an image panel outputting two-dimensional image information, and a light source transmitting light to the image panel. The image panel comprises a color filter substrate, an array substrate, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the color filter substrate and the array substrate. First and second polarizing plates are respectively attached to the top and bottom of the image panel. The liquid crystal lens comprises first and second substrates and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first and second substrates. The first polarizing plate comprises a first protective layer(211-1) formed of a TAC film, a polarizing film(211-2) including polyvinyl alcohol, a second protective layer(211-3) formed of a TAC film, and a DLC layer(260) formed on the top of the first protective film. |
