<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyance device and an image forming apparatus capable of making a skew force in the width direction adequately work on an endless belt in a simple constitution when a meander correction control for the endless belt is performed. <P>SOLUTION: A first drive roller 32a and a second drive roller 32b are provided in line in the width direction. The direction to which the first drive roller 32a discharges an intermediate transfer belt 31 is made to be nonparallel to the direction to which the second drive roller 32b discharges the intermediate transfer belt 31. A CPU 81 gives a speed difference to the first drive roller 32a and the second drive roller 32b based on a detection result of a skew amount sensor 38, and thereby controls the position of the intermediate transfer belt 31 in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
