<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food container which can secure space to put in a cold reserving material or the like without pressing space for food materials in the food container and an outer lid of which is not shaky. <P>SOLUTION: The container is equipped with an inner lid 5 which is fixed to the upper opening of the food container body 2 and the outer lid 12 which covers the upper side of the inner lid 5. A first rib 15 is formed on the lower face 14B inside the outer lid 12 opposing to the upper face 7B of the inner lid 5. The first rib 15 is extended and formed with an extension part 16 up to a position corresponding to a side face part 5A of the inner lid 5. A second rib 17, in which an upper food container body can be placed, is formed on the upper face of the outer lid 12. The first rib 15 collides against the inner lid 5 and the outer lid 12 is arranged separating from the inner lid 5 so that space around a dent part 11, in which the cold reserving material is placed, can be secured without pressing the space for food materials in the food container 1.
