<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare a new additional booklet having an additional value different from an album, in addition to an electronic album desired by a user, by using image data used for the album, in an electronic album preparation system. <P>SOLUTION: A data preparation device for preparing data of a second booklet using image data included in the data of a first booklet in which the image data is arranged in each page includes: image data selection means for selecting a required number of pieces of image data for preparing the second booklet from the image data included in the data of the first booklet; arranging means for arranging the image data selected by the image data selection means on each page of the second booklet according to a template for arranging the image data defined for each kind and page size of the second booklet; and preparation means for preparing the data of each page including the image data arranged by the arranging means as the data of the second booklet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
