<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a composite image having little object blur and desired brightness with a simple operation, when obtaining an image having little influence of camera shake and target exposure by composing a plurality of continuously photographed images. <P>SOLUTION: When obtaining an image having little influence of camera shake and target exposure by composing a plurality of continuously photographed images, each of the continuously photographed images is shrunk, and one simple composite image, two simple composite images, ..., n simple composite images which are obtained by composing the shrunk images one by one are displayed on a display part, and a photographer is made to select the images having no object blur and desired brightness.
