<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation structure capable of exerting a sufficient sound insulation effect on a wide frequency domain of incident sound wave even with a simple structure capable of achieving a weight saving and being manufactured at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A sound insulation structure is constructed by: a sound insulation member 1 formed in a shape of a sealed bag with a thin film material having flexibility; a shape retaining frame body 2 which has many openings and is formed in the shape of a flat box, with a predetermined internal volume, where the sound insulation member 1 is contained; and a pressure control unit 7 which controls pressure of a gas 4 filled inside the sound insulation member 1 so that the pressure varies in a range from almost zero to the pressure with which a portion of the sound insulation member 1 is swollen inside each of the openings of the shape retaining frame body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
