<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper unit that facilitates replacing a wiper member. <P>SOLUTION: The wiper member 450 includes: an axial convex part 456 at a wiping direction side at a tip end side for wiping a liquid ejecting head and an opposite base send side; and an opening hole 457 at the opposite side to the wiping direction. A holding member 430 includes: a concave part 436 for receiving the axial convex part of the wiping member inserted from the wiping direction side; and a convex part with which the opening hole of the wiping member is engaged. The wiping member is mounted to the holding member so that the tip end side of the wiping member is not moved to the wiping direction side and the axial convex part is not moved in the wiping direction by the engagement of the opening hole with the convex part. When the engagement of the concave part with the opening hole is released, the tip end side of the wiping member is rotated with a central focus on the axial convex part so as move to the wiping direction side, and the axial convex part is moved in the wiping direction so as to be separated from the concave part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
