<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period from execution of selecting operation of a channel till a video of a channel of a selection destination is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A video display device 100 is provided with a control part 114 which when a channel is selected, sets to a system time measuring part 104 a first value for measuring time of a first time ahead of a synchronization time, thereby controlling the system time measuring part 104 to measure a system time reference value indicating the first time, controls a reproduction part 105 to reproduce a video signal in synchronization with the system time reference value indicating the first time, and controls a frame buffer 109 to output the video signal in synchronization with the system time reference value indicating the first time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
