<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial water treatment agent constituted by polyethylene containing silver zeolite having high level of safety or the like, which can effectively utilize not only silver zeolite present on the surface of the polyethylene but also silver zeolite contained in the inside of the polyethylene. <P>SOLUTION: The antibacterial water treatment agent constituted by polyethylene containing silver zeolite is characterized in that the silver zeolite has a type-A crystalline structure and is contained by a range of 10 to 30 percent by weight, and that the antibacterial water treatment agent is a porous body having continuous holes formed from the silver zeolite to the surface of the antibacterial water treatment agent and these continuous holes in the porous body are formed from crystallization water contained in the silver zeolite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
