The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving ACK/NACK signals. Disclosed is a method of transmitting ACK/NACK signals, comprising the steps of: receiving from a base station a physical downlink common channel indicated by a first physical downlink control channel; generating ACK/NACK signals representing a successful or unsuccessful reception of the physical downlink common channel; allocating at least one first ACK/NACK resource selected on the basis of the channel selection for a signal to be transmitted through a first antenna; allocating at least one second ACK/NACK resource explicitly allocated by the base station for a signal to be transmitted through a second antenna; and transmitting the generated ACK/NACK signals to the base station through the first and second antennas by using the allocated resources. According to the present invention, transmission resources are effectively allocated for transmitting ACK/NACK signals for a plurality of component carriers.
