The windshield arrangement has an A-column (16) and a windshield (14) arranged on the A-column. The A-column has a receiving area (27) for the windshield, where the receiving area is front facing in driving direction (x) of the vehicle. The receiving area has such an extension in the vehicle transverse direction (y) that a wiper arm (12) of a wiper arrangement (10) comes to lie in an overlapping manner with the A-column in a reverse- or resting point of wiper motion relative to the vehicle longitudinal direction. An independent claim is also included for a wiper arrangement with a plate wheel.
