<p>The drier has a drum (1) for retaining clothes to be dried, and a heat pump circuit for guiding medium through a condenser (3), throttle body (5), evaporator (6), compressor (2). The condenser heats process air, and the evaporator cools the process air. An auxiliary heat exchanger (4) is arranged in a process air circuit for extracting heat from the process air circuit, and a temperature sensor (11) is arranged in the heat pump circuit. A controller (8) controls heat output extracted by the heat exchanger depending on a signal of the sensor. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a laundry drier.</p> |
