Driving mechanism for a reciprocating dung scraper comprises an endless chain 33, constantly rotating on two sprockets 23, 31 of equal height above a bottom plate 1, and carrying a pin 35 engaging a sliding member 6, 7 with vertical freedom. Two chains 33, 34 joined by a pin 35 working, through a bush 36, in a slot 8 are driven from chain wheels 23, 24 by reduction gearing 18, 11 and a belt 14 from a motor 16. The dung scrapers are connected by a rod (not shown) to the slide member 6 and are arranged to project perpendicularly to the rod in one direction of travel and to lie along the rod in the other direction. |
