PURPOSE: An intellectual mobile device provided with text-recognition on a photo and a method for recognizing text on a photo by the same are provided to enhance the availability of information by interlinking ambience information. CONSTITUTION: A camera unit takes a photograph of photograph. A voice call unit performs transfer and reception of a signal. A data communications unit connects an external device to perform a data transceiving function. The display unit indicates an image data. A controller analyzes a text existing in the picture. The controller outputs image data to the display unit.
