PURPOSE: A polarizing plate, a liquid crystal display device with the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to omit a polarizing plate on an external surface of a color filter substrate. CONSTITUTION: A pixel electrode(169) is formed on the inner surface of a first substrate. The pixel electrode is connected to a thin film transistor. A common electrode(135) corresponds to the pixel electrode. The common electrode generates an electric field. An in-cell polarizing layer(112) is formed on the inner surface of a second substrate. A liquid crystal layer(180) is formed between the first and second substrates.
