PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing snapping turtle extract is provided to reduce skin toxicity and to improve immunity. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating dermatitis contains 0.1-20 wt% of snapping turtle extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using hot water at 80-100°C or alcohol or alcohol solution. The alcohol includes methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, or butanol. The pharmaceutical composition is manufactured in the form of a tablet, pill, granule, soft/hard capsule, acid, powder, and syrup. The extract is administered in 0.001-100mg/kg per day. |
