PURPOSE: A facsimile transmitting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to duplicate facsimile data which is stored in a memory to USB memory card which is connected to the facsimile. CONSTITUTION: A controlling unit(220) reprints facsimile data which is stored in a memory with reference to an identification code. A key input and menu key setting unit(230) inputs key input data for setting up a facsimile number. The key input and menu key setting unit receives message key input data of a menu. A timer(240) offers processing fax time and facsimile receipt time to an RTC(Real Time Clock). An LCD unit displays a facsimile telephone number, facsimile communication information, and facsimile communication error condition information.
