A method and a system for managing a database are provided to improve the data processing speed by simultaneously performing a update process of reference times and a selection process for correspondent data. The inquiry defining both a drawing request of a record and an update request for at least one column contained at a record is analyzed(300-320). An execution plan for performing the analyzed inquiry is generated(330). The execution plan is executed as the result of performing the update of the column and the withdrawal of the record(340). |
