PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to form a relatively light case with high strength by a case molded by a plastic, and to improve drug resistance of a case. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises: an electrode assembly(110) in which a positive electrode plate(111), a negative electrode plate(112), and a separator(113) are winded, and comprising a positive electrode tap(114), and a negative electrode tap(115); a case(120) accepting the electrode assembly, and formed by a plastic material; and a cap assembly comprising a positive electrode lead tap(134) connecting to the positive electrode tap, and a negative electrode lead cap(135) connecting to the negative electrode tap, and comprising a cap plate(131) consisting of the plastic material.
