An "Avtotrak" method for moving a mobile vehicle of Petrov design includes transmission of torque by a half-track mover and adding to a caterpillar mover of a gravitational component, and rotation of a driven sprocket is slowed down until the moment of turning a mobile beam relative to the frame for an angle of direction of action of gravity relative to the direction of action of tractive resistance force.
