<p>The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for conducting an assay. In particular, the present invention relates to a rotatable platform which can be used for conducting an assay, in particular multi-step assays. The present invention provides a rotatable platform adapted to immobilise a first binding partner in one or more discrete areas on a surface of said platform, or to selectively immobilise a second binding partner in one or more discrete areas on a surface of said platform. The invention also relates to methods, apparatus, a kit and the use of the rotatable platform for conducting an assay. In particular, the invention has been developed primarily for use in sequencing nucleic acid by pyrosequencing, however the invention is not limited to this field.</p> |
