METHOD OF PROVIDING PATH INFORMATION USING NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A route information providing method using a navigation system is provided to reduce errors caused by passing through an intersection because a time required for passing through the intersection existed on a route is reflected when selecting the route. CONSTITUTION: A route information providing method using a navigation system is as follows. A current location of a user is figured out based on location data received from a GPS satellite(S200). A route to a destination from the current location is searched by using road information saved in a navigation system(S210). If a plurality of the routes is searched, a time required for passing through an intersection on the route is calculated(S240). One route among the plurality of the routes is selected based on the time required(S250).
