PURPOSE: A portable terminal sending message confirmation service method and system thereof are provided to enable a user to confirm the reception state of a text message in real time by subscribing to a message reception notification service. CONSTITUTION: When a user of a portable terminal sends a text message(100), the text message is received in a text message system of a mobile communication company(200). The text message system extracts the information of an caller(201). The text message system transmits the text message to the portable terminal of a receiver(202). When the receiver pushes a message confirmation key(300), the text message confirmation information is transmitted to the text message system in real time.
